Lamar Hunt was one of the founders of the AFL, and Major League Soccer. He founded the Dallas Texans, which subsequently moved to Kansas City and became the Kansas City Chiefs. Photos are mostly 8" x 10" and range in condition from GD-NRMT. Mr. Hunt was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1972; into the National Soccer Hall of Fame in 1982; and into the International Tennis Hall of Fame in 1993. This photo collection (28) contains wire photos of his life and career. One interesting wire photo shows Hunt's vision for the development of Alcatraz Island in SF Bay. He proposed creating a "living museum" for the space program.
