A collection of NFL photos (300+) from the 1950's to the 1980's. Many have been taken by staff photographers at the San Francisco Examiner, making them one of a kind. Some include original news clipping attached to the verso. Others in the collection are wire photos with their typed caption sheets affixed to the photos. Many action shots here with editor enhancements accenting the photos. Groups include the San Francisco 49ers ranging from the 1950's through to the 1980's, as well as Leo Nomellini. Most are oversized measuring 11" X 14". Overall the collection is in excellent condition.
