This copy found its way into the possession of Elvis Presley through his friend, Larry Geller, and became a constant companion in his later life. The pages are full of notes, observations and underscored text all in the hand of Elvis Presley. Revealing quotes on the topics of death lend this volume a startling significance. Among the 50+ handwritten notes within these pages are, "The only people who are afraid of death are the people who afraid of life- Warriors we must be", Man proposes and God disposes woman divorces", "We must be prepared for the preordained time and we will be at peace", "Sing a deeper song within the twilight of memory". Included with the book is a photograph of Elvis boarding his plane with this text clearly visible in his hand.
