Brian McDonald's enjoyed success with the WHA coming into existence
in 1972-73. After being selected by the Dayton-Houston Aeros in the
1972 General Entry Draft and playing with the Aeros in 1972-73,
McDonald was traded to the Los Angeles Sharks in 1973-74 and was a
mainstay in the WHA for another three years playing for the Michigan
Stags and Indianapolis Racers. This all-original Racers jersey has
McDonald’s name sewn on to a nameplate on the back. Wilson size 48
tag in the collar. Large yellow board burns on the left sleeve and a
few sizable un-repaired holes. Red paint transfer through both left
sleeve numbers. Board burns on the back right cuff area. Stick marks
on the right sleeve numbers and light marks on the crest. One un-
repaired hole on the back. A board burn/scrape to the lower right of
the numbers on the back. Single loop style fight strap inside the back.
