Simply amazing collection of photographs taken at their July 4th, 1912
bout. The fight ended in a rare, double knock down with the fighter
who landed the first punch, Ad Wolgast, being declared the winner.
The lot contains (15) 5 x 7’’ photographs taken ringside and a real photo postcard showing the stadium, crowd and part of the ring. The 5 x 7’’ photos were taken by Dingman of Los Angeles, who identified the round number and placement of the fighters in the original negative. EX-MT.
