Official American League (Cronin) baseball was signed on the south panel by New York Yankee great, Thurman Munson, during the year 1979. The league stamping is a bit light, but the ball retains its nice, white color. Signature rates an 8 on a scale of 1to10. The ball originates from Munson's personal, Cleveland-area, golf caddy who had the ball signed a little more than a month before the legendary catcher's death in Canton, Ohio. (While on the golf course, incidentally.) The ball comes with a detailed LOA from the caddy.
