The 1975-76 season proved to be the only season in which Butch
Deadmarsh played a full professional season with the same team. As a
member of the WHA's Calgary Cowboys, he suited up for 79 games,
scoring 26 goals and 28 assists for 54 points and racked up 196
penalty minutes. After another half a season in Calgary, Deadmarsh
moved on to the Minnesota Fighting Saints. His home, white jersey
offered here has the large cowboy hat crest affixed to the front with
his alternate captain’s ‘A’ on the left chest. Maska and Men XL 48
tagging in the collar. Large 8” repair job to the left of the crest
running vertically with material reinforcement on the inside. Stick
marks across the front with puckering to the crest from washings and
a dark stick marks and scrape across the front of the cowboy hat.
Another team repair below the alternate captain’s ‘A’. Four repairs
on the back of the right sleeve. Green paint transfer below the
cowboy hat logo on the right shoulder. Red paint transfer between the
right sleeve numbers. dark stick slashes on the left sleeve front and
back. Three repairs on the left sleeve with un-repaired holes,
scuffing and broken stitching. Two repairs on the back – one below
the number five about 7" and one to the lower right of the number 5.
Very small loop style fight strap. Various un-repaired holes and
marks across the back. “DEADMARSH” chain-stitched onto a white twill
nameplate. Another nameplate was present before the Deadmarsh – a
little longer creating un-repaired holes at the ends.
