Left-winger Don Maloney was a talented offensive player who could
also check and kill penalties. His versatility and work ethic served
him well in a career that lasted nearly 800 games and spanned three
decades. His home, white jersey from the mid-1980’s has Gerry Cosby
tagging between a size “54” tag and a washing instruction tag in the
collar. Maloney’s full first and last names appear on the back above
the #12. Mild puckering of the front lettering and other sewn on
numbers and letters from washings. Light stick marks and board burns
along the lower front with some blue paint transfer in the bottom
white stripe. Light scuffing on the back of the right arm. One long
board burn created an un-repaired hole on the front right sleeve
leading to a long team repair. Another team repair on the back of the
left sleeve. Heavy board burns on the back left hem area. Small loop
style fight strap with pilling inside both arms. Alternate captain’s
‘A’ sits proudly on the left chest.
