Lot Description  

Great 6.5 x 8.5" news service photo of baseball HOFer Lou Gehrig signing his contract renewal with Yankees owner Col. Jake Ruppert. The image, dated Feb 26, 1935, has the original caption sheet and news clipping affixed to verso. Some editor enhancements and cracks/ creases along top edge. Excellent image.
