The poster for Cream's March 1968 concert at the Shrine in Los Angeles was produced from several pieces of art that were combined for the final product. This is the original art and four hand-cut rubylith overlays for the central image of the poster by John Van Hamersveld, who was a founding partner of the Pinnacle Production company and like Rick Griffin, was a major graphic artist of the early 60's surfing movement. Six layers including hand drawn mock up with explicit printing instructions. 12x12" mounted on larger board. Includes a photocopy of the finished poster. NRMT.
