This pair of Rawlings OAL Budig baseballs were game-used in the last game of the streak on September 19 and 20th, both vs. the Yankees. Each ball has been dated, signed and inscribed in blue ballpoint on the bottom panel by Yankees pitcher Ramiro Mendoza, who pitched in the September 20th game. The balls read "To Mike, Game Used, Sept. 19, 1998, Ramiro Mendoza" and "To Mike, Ramiro Mendoza, 9/20/98 Game Used," respectively. These historic baseballs show nice soiling with signatures and inscriptions that grade an 8 to 9 and are the first we have seen to come up for public sale.
