On August 9, 1981 in Cleveland, Ohio the great Roberto Duran fought Nino Gonzalez in an important non title affair. Duran won a unanimous ten round decision. Presented here are the actual fight gloves used by Duran in this fight which he has also signed. The gloves are red leather and sport the Everlast label on each wrist. Duran has signed each glove in black marker on the backhand. The gloves include the original laces. Duran's name is inside each glove. The gloves exhibit wear and the inside shows the normal perspiration stains evident in fight worn gloves.
