Hit by the famed Chicago Cub on Sept. 12th, 1982, the ball shows good game use and has a sizeable scuff from its tumultuous landing outside Wrigley Field. Chased down by Chicago ball hawk Rich Buhrke, Sandberg's signature grades 6/10 on the Officail National League Rawlings brand ball. This lot includes the April 25th, 1977 Sports Illustrated where Buhrke's homerun-ball chasing was written about and also includes an LOA from Buhrke.
