Cus D’Amato is probably best remembered as the trainer of Mike Tyson’s in the early years of his career. Well before that, however, D’Amato had established himself as one of the important trainers in boxing, guiding Floyd Patterson and Jose Torres to championships. Offered here is Cus D’Amato’s 1946 New York State Second’s License which includes a picture on the license. It is unsigned and in excellent condition. Along with this is a white sheet of paper which has been signed in ink by Cus D’Amato and his three champions, Mike Tyson, Floyd Patterson and Jose Torres. Two oversized photographs of D’Amato in the gym are offered as well.
