On March 25, 1916 at Madison Square Garden, World Heavyweight Champion Jess Willard defended his title against rugged Frank Moran. This was Willard’s first and only successful defense of the title he won from Jack Johnson in Havana, Cuba in 1915. After 10 rounds Willard was declared the winner. This exceptionally rare full ticket is in VG condition. It has no creases and the stub is firmly attached. There is fading and two small scratch marks on the front. On the reverse there is considerable damage from being glued down and removed.
