On many chilly nights at Briggs Stadium, Mckain could be seen wearing this team issued Tigers jacket, which, of course, contains the famed olde english "D" on the chest. Only part of the tagging remains in the collar on this wonderful piece of baseball history. #28 is sewn on to the sleeve, black leather sleeves with interior orange (faded) lining, "Archie Mckain", sewn on a swatch inside jacket. This all original jacket was worn daily and then some for the season and shows some holes and wear but is still in very presentable condition
