The Lester B. Pearson Award is presented annually by the National Hockey League Players Association to the league's outstanding player as selected by his peers. Guy was the recipient of this honor for three years running between 1976 and 1978. This award was presented to Guy Lafleur for his accomplishments over two seasons. The trophy itself consists of a figure of a player in motion encased in a massive Lucite cube on an aluminum base.
