An astounding sixty-goal performance with an additional 72 helpers vaulted Guy Lafleur to the top of the league in 1977-78 with a total of 132 points. This was unmatched and, for the third consecutive season, Guy was the recipient of The Art Ross Trophy "To Be Awarded Each Year to the Leading Scorer" of the National Hockey League. This intricately sculpted silver-plate bowl rests on a substantial pedestal of wood. The attached plate announces "Guy Lafleur, Montreal Canadiens, 1977-78." This example was presented to Guy at a later date, as he did not originally received a miniature in 1978. A rarely offered personal award, truly deserving of a prominent display.
