The Chicago Black Sox Barnstorming Letter Collection Collection of letters and telegrams to a gentleman by the name of John Meyers who played for several 1920's baseball teams that barnstormed throughout the country. He majored in the Black Sox. He was friendly with some of those banned players that highlighted his tours. The Black Sox were popular to organizers because they could be had for a good price, drew a crowd with the fascination of what had happened to these fallen champions, and they were damn good ballplayers.
