This rare late 1940s gray flannel Pittsburgh Pirates road jersey was worn by either Nick Strincevich in 1948 or Murry Dickson in 1949. "Pittsburgh" is stitched on the front and the player number "22" is stitched on the back, both done in black on yellow felt. Black and yellow piping is present on the collar and sleeves. Black "Rawlings" manufacturer's label with size "44" in red stitched into the collar, below which is the cleaning instructions tag. No year listed. Jersey is in impeccable condition and appears to be all-original with no alterations. Included is a pair of game-used gray flannel Pirates pants, same era, unknown player, black "MacGregor" manufacturer's tag with size "42" in red sewn into the waist.
