After performing part-time duty behind the plate for the 1947 Pirates and for the Reds, Howell closed out his career in Brooklyn as a seldom used backup to the great Roy Campanella. Dark blue satin kimono has two baseballs on the front with Japanese writing below. "Dodgers" with giant "B" below it on the back. Worn by the Brooklyn team as part of their 1956 Goodwill Tour of Japan. This one was Dixie Howell's from the trip and comes from his family. Great condition.
