From this incredibly desirable series of trophies created by Dieges and Clust in the 1920s and ditributed by Spalding, comes this figural, perhaps the most beautiful all, with an intricate catcher resting on wood base. In luxurious silver plate he stands proudly atop engraved silver baseball. Wood base is painted black and has the Dieges and Clust tag affixed to the reverse. Silver plaque affixed to base reads "Championship Trophy Allegheny County League 1927." One of the most desirable figural trophies of the 20th century. EX-MT with minor scratching to the black paint on the base.
