Two Official National League (Heydler) baseballs are home to seven total signatures from the long-gone Brooklyn Robins, including four Hall of Famers and one scarcely seen owner. The first, more well preserved (VG-EX), specimen has the black fountain pen autographs of Wilbert Robinson, Burleigh Grimes, Dazzy Vance, Zach Wheat, Andy High, and Fred Johnston. Each has lightened to a varying degree and average 3.5/10. The darker sphere (Good) holds a single signature and inscription from the former partner of Charlie Ebbets, S.W. McKeener. In bold black fountain pen he has inked, "SW McKeener-Good Health, Good Luck-Steve" (7.5) on the side panel. A rare and remarkable Robin sighting indeed!
