One of the great Boston Red Sox hitters, Dwight Evans matured in the 1980’s and popped some very significant numbers during that decade, culminating in the masterly performance in the 1986 World Series where he drove in 9 runs, and in game 7 smacked a homer to put Boston in the lead over the New York Mets, though we all know the outcome of that Series. This game used and autographed glove journeys from circa 1973, when Evans was just fresh out of his rookie season of ’72, and it is signed to DiMag (a legendary Red Sox clubhouse man). The Wilson glove model 1265 is also an A 2000 vintage, and has faded “24” on thumb. Glove has nice game use, and has “Dwight Evans” stamped on inside pinky.
