Lolich was a fine hurler who is best known for his near flawless performance in the 1968 World Series where he twirled three complete game victories. Interestingly, the big lefty was a natural righthander but a broken right arm in his youth caused him to learn to throw lefty. We were told that this 1972 road jersey was obtained at Yankee Stadium after the last game of the 72 season. "Wilson 48" tag in collar. Strip tag in tail reads "48 72 2". "Detroit" and his number sewn on in an orange and blue tackle twill.
