Bench's Hall of fame career peaked in the early to mid-Seventies during which time he twice won the MVP award. His exceptional play behind the plate was only matched by the work he did while hovering above, with bat in hand and this helmet on. Cincy's logo "C" is affixed to the front of the outer shell which displays various dinks and scrapes, while his number "5" is written on the sweat toned padding within. "American Baseball Cap" raised stamp on the underside of the visor and a "7 3/8" size decal above the nicely used leather headband. A quality piece of equipment from the man many consider to be the greatest catcher of all-time.
