This hoard of vintage boxing exhibit cards is an excellent pictorial history of 1920's boxing. Several stars and champions are included as well as a few names you may never have heard of. If you are curious about the history of boxing this is a great lot to add to your collection. The breakdown of cards is as follows, 1921 Exhibits (34) Including Sullivan, Corbett, Jeffries, and Ketchel. 1922 (22). 1923 (18) including Leonard and Willard. 1925 (43) including Dundee, Dempsey, and Leonard. 1926 (2). 1927 (43) including Tunney. 1928 Postcard backs (8) with Dempsey, Schmelling, Abe Attell Goldstein, Primo Carnera, and Harry Greb. 1928 (71) with Dempsey (2 different). 1928 Exhibit Postcard backs (71) including Dundee, Willard (red and blue), Tunney, Dempsey. 1928 Save Coupon Backs (4) Dempsey (2) and Sharkey (2). 1947-60 Exhibits (65) Including Pep, La Motta, Ray Robinson, Ezzard Charles, Moore, Dempsey (2 different), Tunney and Walcott. Overall the group is very consistent condition wise. 15% EX-MT, 30% EX, 40% VG-EX and 15% slightly lesser. The key cards fall mainly in the VG-EX to EX range. Lastly, this group is also very impressive because there is very light duplication.
