In 1967 three distinct series of baseball cards were issued. Cards # 139-188 are labeled "Retirado" in red block letters at the bottom. The player's are in sepia. Like most Venezuelan cards from this era they are printed on substandard paper. It is extremely difficult to find cards in any condition above EX-MT, many are often found with back damage due to having been glued to an album or scrapbook. Included are the following cards, PSA 7 NM (2) # 150 Cy Young, 171 Alexander (mc). PSA 6 EX-MT (2) 145 DiMaggio, 163 Foxx. PSA 5 EX (4) # 146 Cobb, 148 Williams (mc), 149 Ott, and 180 Campanella. PSA 4 VG-EX Koufax. Lastly PSA 2 GD # 143 Wagner. Simply put, an outstanding high grade group of these very rare and condition sensitive cards.
