The Vermont Reds were a AA team affiliated with the Cincinnati organization, and won the Eastern League championship in 1984, their first year of play, defeating the dominant Albany-Colonie team 3-0 in the playoffs. This ring bears the name “Dorish” and we believe it may have been awarded to the veteran Major League pitcher Harry Dorish, perhaps for coaching. The size 12 silver ring has a central cubic zirconia on a recessed light red stone, circled by “Vermont / Reds / Eastern League Champions”. On one shank, over crossed bats, the Red’s logo appears, below “1984”. On the other shank, “Dorish” appears above a player with cocked bat. Condition of the ring is NRMT.
