Some of the finest archives offered here. Complete look into the life of the man who would have been our nation's leader. Some four hundred photos taken between 1957 and 1968 provide a full account of his rise from campaign manager to Presidential hopeful, and finally his tragic murder at the Ambassador. Included are photos of his trip to the Far East, to Africa, to Germany, and Italy: with his wife Ethel and other family members. Some specifics include several with his brothers Teddy and JFK, Jackie O, wonderful oversized images of his trips to San Francisco (with bodyguard Rafer Johnson), his wedding photo, several with LBJ, giving tributes to his brother, with the 1960 SF Giants including Alou and Cepeda, series of his famous climb of Mount Kennedy, at his brother’s grave, with John John, the famous mob in Harlem that loved him so much they almost pulled him out of the car, several with LBJ, with LBJ and JFK, at JFK’s funeral, multiples with his brother on the Senate Racketeering Committee, with nemesis Jimmy Hoffa, with Marian Anderson, with LBJ and MLK, and more. There is an entire file on his assassination, his funeral, and his burial at Arlington Cemetery. Many of the photos include either front copy or their original paper caption. Some are with editor's markings and press stampings. About ¼ are laser prints possibly less. Their sizes range from 4x6" to 10x12" with the majority being 8x10". Overall EX+.
