Sensational game used stick from early in Ullman's Hall of Fame career dates from the '57-58 season, one of many in which he lined up alongside the great Gordie Howe. Wrapped with its original tape on the blade and shaft, this exceptional Northland Pro exhibits moderate use throughout the body and is stamped "Ullman" and "Lippman's Tool Shop-Detroit, Michigan" in black ink, in addition to being handwritten with his number "16". Most impressive, though, are the fourteen ballpoint pen signatures (overall grade 8-9/10) that run the length of the stick and include names such as: Howe, Sawchuk, Ullman, Kelly, Kennedy, and more. Several tiny holes on shaft, once used for mounting purposes, do not interfere with the signatures in any way.
