In 1955-56, Quaker Oats issued a set virtually identical to the Parkhurst set of the same year. The only differences are the distinctive green backs and a Quaker Oats advertisement in place of the Did You Know tip on the back of the card. After the (3) nearly impossible to locate short print cards in the set, the next most difficult card to find is # 50, Jacques Plante's RC card. The offered example has excellent eye appeal, just a light wrinkle to the top right corner. The only other problem is on the right hand border, through his name there are (6) tiny pinholes. When one examines the reverse of the card, it is much easier to see the damage. Furthermore, there are (3) stray blue pen marks on the reverse. Overall, the card is VG, however, with a card this rare one cannot be too picky when it comes to condition.
