Terry Mulholland has had a fairly ordinary career for a major league pitcher although he did make it into one All-Star game. But for one day in 1990 he joined the group of pitchers that had the distinction of tossing a no hitter. Only a throwing error by his third baseman prevented his joining the even more elite club of pitchers who threw a perfect game. Fine use on this Official NL (William White) baseball. All four umpires signed the ball and it is dated 8/15/90. Score "Giants 0 vs. Phillies 6" is noted on the sweet spot above "Mulholland pitches No hitter".
