Babe loved the camera and the camera loved him back. He is in three of these photos. One concerned his contract signing in 1932 when he took a $5,000 pay cut (I doubt we'll ever see one of those again). Photo shows Mrs. Ruth, Babe, Colonel Jacob Ruppert and Colonel Fred Wattenberg who served as a witness, all posed in front of a wishing well (VG). Second pic is from 1946 of Babe and an eight-year-old cancer patient in front of the boy's home. Two clowns are also in the photo, presumably to cheer the young man up (VG). Third photo has the Mayor of New York City, Jimmy Walker, presenting medals on the field to Babe, Ben Chapman, Ethan Allen and Frank O'Doul for their charity work in 1931 (VGEX). Last one is of Mrs. George Herman Ruth (Helen) and her daughter at a World Series game. Caption on the reverse of this one reads "Mrs. Babe Ruth Burned To Death" (VG). Three of the photos are 9 x 7". The fourth is 9-1/4 x 8".
