In 1993, the Red Sox held a ceremony at Fenway Park and presented replica emblems to the descendants of the team's members, a full 75 years after the team could last lay claim to having earned the distinction of World Champions. Solid 10K gold emblem has "World's Champions 1918 Boston Red Sox" on it. Two socks are in the center of the medallion, surrounded by bases and base paths. "Boston Red Sox 1918 World's Series Emblem Presented September 4, 1993" printed on silver backing. All framed in beautiful cherry wood. This is a wonderful display piece that was never presented.
