In 1967, UCLA (ranked #1) and cross-town rival USC (ranked #2) hooked up, with the winner getting to go to the Rose Bowl and a chance to play for the national championship. The game featured UCLA's star QB Gary Beban and USC's star O. F. Simpson. Beban threw for 301yards but the Juice ran for a 64 yard touchdown that gave USC a 21-20 win. In the Rose Bowl OJ led the Trojans past Indiana 14-3 to capture the national championship. Face of watch says "Rose Bowl 1968" And has the USC logo below it.
