One of the finer flannels to come down the pike. Beautiful specimen of a Cardinals jersey from this man who made St. Louis--forget Rogers Hornsby. Grey road with the wondrous "Cardinals" perched on a bat across the front. It is all fully embroidered and has toned down to a nice bright pink. Braided trim winds its way through the placket. It is a midi button front with three original white ivories. Tagged in the collar with the early red Rawlings tag in cloth. Best of all it has been written in ink "Frisch" with a size "40" and his uniform number "4." The sleeves have been adapted, as you would need baboon arms to work with these if not cut. The all-important "Frisch" in red embroidery in the tail is supremely elegant. The number "4" has been removed from the verso. Comes with a pair of flannel pants from a slightly later era.
