For 25 seasons Hall-of-Famer Eddie “Cocky” Collins was a veritable hitting machine, racking up 3315 hits and a lifetime .333 average. He was 1914 MVP, and played in six World Series with both the White Sox and Philadelphia Athletics. This sharp and expressive 1926 photograph dates from his White Sox years (1915-26) and Collins is posed with his trusty bat in his road jersey.
