Obscure bit of trivia here for you--for two weeks at the beginning of the 1989 season, Henderson had to wear number "22," as another Oakland player had his career-long number "24." But when that player was released, Henderson was quick to steal his lucky number back. This helmet dates to that two-week period when Henderson sported double-twos on his uniform. Size 7 1/4 A's helmet shows fair wear, with a NRMT black sharpie signature on the visor. Number "24" yellow mesh jersey has "Rawlings [size] 42" tagging in tail. Light use. COA.
