Can you identify the men in this line-up? This lot contains 6 black-and-white Chicagoland photos. A 14 x 6-1/2” Cubs team photo in about excellent condition with some discoloration along the left edge and one creased corner is dated 1935 on the back. A 15 x 11” team photo in about excellent condition is captioned as August 27 and shows a pose for the 1945 team picture at Wrigley identifying everyone, from Trainer Andy Lotshaw to Batboy Jim Chalikis. A 15” x 10” shot is slightly torn at the bottom and creased along the sides and identified by caption on back as being published Oct 5 1938. A 13 x 8” shot of six old-timers is identified on the back as being from Jul 10 1949 of Jimmy Archer, Max Carey, Charlie Grimm, John Hollison, Rogers Hornsby and George Toporcer. It’s in somewhat rougher shape and shows signs of having been edited for cropping and printing/publication. Two more photos are about 12 x 9 1/2” and are of assemblages of men who may or may not be ball players.
