It’s clear from this original piece of art from the Topps 1966 card series “Superman in the Jungle” that nobody gets away from the Man of Steel. The artwork for the 66-card series was masterfully drawn in black ink by the master himself, Superman comic illustrator Norman Saunders. After he drew the pieces, Norman had do some adhesive-backed cut and pasting, which is why there are a few yellow adhesive stains on the front, and, of course, on the back. This black & white card allows fans to see --and feel--Superman in his original pre-printed state.
