Danny Thomas was primarily known as a TV actor. He starred as a nightclub singer on the popular “Make Room For Daddy”. He also created two of the most enduring shows in the history of television; The Dick Van Dyke Show and The Andy Griffith Show. Less known is the fact that he was a founding minority owner of the Miami Dolphins. Collection has the whistle the ref blew to kick off the first ever Dolphins game. It’s framed (9-5/8 X 12”) behind glass and accompanied by a letter of authenticity from the ref who blew the whistle. A Dolphins jersey with “Danny Thomas” across the back over the number “51.” Both sleeves have “51.” Front has “51” on the chest and a “Wilson 44” tag near the bottom. Jersey is blue. Danny Thomas’ certificate announcing his being a charter member of the Quarterback Club of the Miami Dolphins.
