“Why can’t you see / What you’re doing to me / When you don’t believe a word I say.” The success of “Suspicious Minds” in 1969 marked a major comeback for Elvis Presley, his first #1 hit in seven years. Harvey Keitel convincingly performs the song in the movie “Finding Graceland”, and it was later recorded by The Fine Young Cannibals. The Rolling Stones ranked the song #91on their all-time rock & roll list. Sadly, the recording turned out to be The King’s last #1 song. The gold RCA Victor 45 is framed and mounted under glass above a brass RIAA plaque commemorating the sale of one million copies. Condition is Excellent overall, with a couple of surface scratches on the original gilt frame and some minor wear to the glass.
