A group of items relating to Super Bowl I, 1967, in which the Green Bay Packers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 35-10. These items are of particular interest, since the title “Super Bowl” had not yet been officially adopted. The group consists of the following three items: Ticket to pregame Cocktail Party & Buffet “Professional Football Requests the Pleasure of Your Company in a Salute to the First AFL-NFL World Championship Game, Friday, January 13, 1967”; Ticket to Pre-Game Brunch, Sunday, January 15, 1967; Alarm clock, Dunhill (German manufacture), in folding black leather case with NFL and AFL insignias stamped in gold, given to press corps. Condition: excellent and unused.
