Good as emerald Boston Garden program from Game 7 of the 1964-65 NBA Eastern Conference Finals between the Celtics and 76ers, its green and white cover – presciently – featuring a shot of John Havlicek. This, of course, was the game that ended when “Havlicek stole the ball!” – as Celtic broadcaster Johnny Most immortally croaked. With Boston up 110-109 and 5 seconds left, Havlicek darted in front of the Sixers’ Chet Walker and stole the inbounds pass from Hal Greer, tipping the ball to K.C. Jones who dribbled out the clock and sent the Celtics on to the Finals and 7th straight title. Centerfold scorecard filled in showing Sam Jones as the leading scorer with 37 (7 more than Wilt the Stilt). Tiny chip on back cover o/w beautiful EX-MT condition.
