One of the nicest George Harrison signed checks we have ever seen. Check signed by the “quiet” Beatle on March 12, 1971, the year of his big breakout as a solo performer with the “All Things Must Pass” album and the hit single “My Sweet Lord”. National Westminster Bank Limited check for “Thirty One Pounds - 60” is made out to John Waterer Sons & Crisp Ltd.”, the British landscaping firm, perhaps for some work in the garden of his huge estate on days that he could sing “Here Comes the Sun”. The always valuable “George Harrison” signature is in black ink on the lower right under “Apple Records, Inc.” imprint -- which by itself makes the check a keeper. George signed in a neat and artistic hand and even ink flow, grading NRMT, as is the pink and white, 3.5 x 8” check from the Old Bond Street branch of the bank in London. Two binder holes along the top portion and a tiny snag of the paper on the upper left corner.
