This 11” x 14” 1917 World Series program is in incredible near-mint condition and has a color cover with a photo of President Woodrow Wilson that reads, “President Wilson throwing out the ball at the opening of the American League Season at Washington: A big enough boy to enjoy the national game - and - a man big enough to guide our country through its greatest crisis” (World War 1). The red white and blue type on the cover highlights the playing teams and also reads, “New York Giants vs Chicage White Sox World Series 1917, Brush Stadium Polo Grounds”. Condition is gorgeous EX-MT.
