There never was another goalie quite like Ray Martyniuk. The hometown hero wore this jersey during his sparkling season, 1968-9, in net for the Flin Flon Bombers. Just a year later, he was chosen fifth overall in the 1970 draft by the Montreal Canadiens. This game-worn jersey shows the hard-charging style of the first-team all-star with the sweat stains and repaired tears along the sleeves and torso. The back has his trademark #1 along with a sewn number on the right sleeve. A small patch, also on the right sleeve is for the Western Canadian Hockey League. The jersey was made by the Tease Knit Company of Toronto.
