Bill Cook was part of the “Bun Line” with his brother Bun Cook and Frank Boucher, which in the 1928 Stanley Cup finals was the “groove line,” scoring every single Ranger goal in the series that gave the team its first championship. Cook, a prolific scorer in his day, is still 8th on the all-time Rangers scoring parade with 228 goals over 11 seasons. The HOF right winger was also a very popular teammate, as can be gleaned from these 7 publicity shot 8 x 10’s that came from Cook’s estate, 6 of which are signed to Cook by a different Ranger of the era. These include Dave Kerr, Cecil Dillon, Murray Murdoch, Charlie Mason, Earl Siebert, Ott Heller, and Beak Connolly. Signatures average NRMT while photos are EX at the least, good and sharp with a nice vintage looking sepia tone and some curling up of the sides.
