Have a seat! Actually, take a pair of seats! No tickets required for these two Boston Braves Field Double Stadium Seats. All you need is the desire to grab a pair of these all original stadium artifacts. When Braves Field opened back in 1915, it became the first ballpark to seat more than 40,000 fans. A single deck of 18,000 covered seats went from around homeplate extending all the way down to both foul lines. This pair of Boston Braves seats are numbered 5 and 6. The wooden seats are painted green but the paint is showing years of wear, especially on the front part of the three armrests where excited Braves’ fans must have been grabbing tightly. And you can almost imagine, based on the wear, that the fans in these spots were often sitting on the edge of their seats! The metal braces and brackets that held these seats to the ground are intact but rusted. Yet when you sit down on these seats, you can almost believe you’re out there at the game just waiting for that hot dog guy to come by! Without a doubt this magnificant double-dose of Boston Braves memorabilia will be a one two-fer that’ll have all your fans giving you a standing ovation!
